Abstract

PT Pamapersada Nusantara is one of the contractor companies that handles the work area at PT Bukit Asam Tbk. Blasting activities were carried out in the TSBC pit in the west enim section. The location of the blasting area which is close to the settlement of PT Bukit Asam Tbk employees makes ground vibration one of the impacts of blasting activities that need to be considered. PT Pamapersada Nusantara sets the Peak Particle Velocity (PPV) threshold value at 1 mm/s. However, the value of soil vibration is still above the threshold value set by the company can interfere with the comfort of the settlement of PT Bukit Asam Tbk. The value standard still cannot be met. Therefore, it is necessary to reduce the weight of explosives on the influence of the Peak Particle Velocity (PPV) value to meet these requirements. The results of the observation of ground vibration measurements for the weight of explosives per hole are 16kg to 48kg by producing a Peak Particle Velocity (PPV) value that is still above the specified threshold value. Based on the relationship scaled distance and value Peak Particle Velocity (PPV) value, a regression value of 0.8566 was obtained, which shows a strong relationship. Based on the Peak Particle Velocity value which is still above the threshold, it is necessary to give a recommendation weight of explosives per hole for a distance of 1100m is 21kg, for a distance of 1200m is 26kg, for a distance of 1300m is 30kg, for a distance of 1400m is 35kg, for a distance of 1500m 40kg, for a distance of 1600m is 45kg.
