Abstract

This researh’s title is “Peranan Abdul Haris Nasution Pada Masa Orde Baru Tahun 1965-1972”. These issues which be appointed are; how Abdul Haris Nasution’s role during the transition era from President Soekarno to Soeharto in 1967, how the conditions of political dan military in the beginning of the Orde Baru and how Abdul Haris Nasution’s role in military and politic of the Orde Baru until 1972. The puspose of this research is to know Nasution’s role during the transition era from President Soekarno to Soeharto in 1967, the conditions of political dan military in the beginning of the Orde Baru and Nasution’s role in military and politic of the Orde Baru until 1972. The method which used in this research is historical method, by step heuristic, source critism, which divide into ektern critism dan intern critism and also interpretation and historiography with political approach, sosiology approach, and economy approach by literature review. In this research has explained if Nasution is one of Indonesian’s importsnt figure during the end of Orde Lama until the beginning of Orde Baru as the impact of G30S/PKI occurrence and also have impact to the changing of political and military conditions in Indonesia.
