Abstract
The objective of this study was to know the teachers competencies applying authentic assessment on PPKn studying at SMA Negeri 1 Indralaya. This study used the case study method with qualitative approach. The informan of this study were two teachers which were taken by using purposive sampling. The data collected techniques with documentation, interview, and observation. The test of data validity include the test of credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability. The data analysis techniques used in this study were data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. Based on analysis and study the research result showed that the teachers competencies applying authentic assessment on PPKn studying at SMA negeri 1 Indralaya is good less. The thing proved with percentage of applying authentic assessment as 46.8% which into the table of class assessment included good less category and do not appropriate essay test with subject matter and there is not rubric at afective and phsychomotoric assessment.
