Abstract
JOOX is an online music streaming platform that gives users the opportunity to listen to music from various genres live. JOOX provides a free streaming service that is accompanied by some advertisements, and also presents a premium subscription service that provides additional access such as ad-free playback, better audio quality, and other exclusive content. According to data obtained from mojok.co, this JOOX application is no better than spotify and through a pre-research survey of information systems students, Sriwijaya University shows that they prefer to listen to music through the Spotify application. Therefore, it is necessary to conduct this research to analyze user experience in order to improve the quality of the application and find out the application is in accordance with the needs of application users. User Experience Questionnaire is a method to measure or find out how user experience is based on Pragmatic Quality, Hedonic Quality and Attractiveness, with components or parameters such as efficiency, clarity, accuracy, stimulation and novelty. The results of the benchmark show that the values of the six aspects, namely attractiveness, perspicuity, efficiency, dependability, stimulation and novelty, all get below average scores. It can be concluded using the Data Analysis Tool provided by UEQ that the JOOX application per aspect is still not good and improvements are needed such as improving visual appearance, simplifying navigation, optimizing performance, and adding innovative and interactive features.
