Abstract
This development research was conducted to produce Problem Based Learning (PBL) based Learner Worksheets (LKPD) and applied for learning chemical compounds in class VIII SMPN 1 Sembawa which are valid, practical, and effective. The development model used in this research is the Rowntree development model and modified with Tessmer's formative evaluation. Data were collected through interviews, questionnaires, and tests. The results showed that the PBL-based integrated science LKPD on the topic of volcanic eruption compounds were valid, practical, and effective. The validity test of the LKPD was carried out at the expert review stage by 3 expert lecturers in the fields of material, design, and pedagogy with an average score of 0.88 with a high category according to Aiken'V theory. The LKPD practicality test was carried out through the one to one and small group stages. The one to one stage obtained a percentage of 90.30% and the small group stage obtained a percentage of 92.52% meeting the very practical category. The LKPD effectiveness test was carried out through the field test stage based on the results of the pre-test and post-test scores of students and obtained a percentage of 77% which met the effective category based on the N-gain score. This research can be used as teaching material in schools and further researched.
