Abstract

The purposes of this research were to: (1) measure the members performance of the KUBA Maju Bersama in paddy seed captivity activities in Sako Village Rambutan Subdistrict Banyuasin Regency, (2) compute the income of paddy seed captivity farming for one year period in Sako Village Rambutan Subdistric Banyuasin Regency, (3) analyze the correlation members performance of the KUBA Maju Bersama with income of paddy seed. The research was conducted in Sako Village Rambutan Sub-district of Banyuasin Regency. The data was collected from February until April 2014. Determining the location of intentional (purposive). The method used in this study is survey. The sampling method was done by simple random sampling with 30 sample of 130 members KUBA. The results showed that the level of members peformance of the KUBA Maju Bersama paddy seed captivity in Sako Village were in high criteria level with an average score of 77,71. It showed that the ability of farmers to carry out activities, obey the agreements with other parties, foster Capital, improve institutional relationships and utilize the information were very well. Beside that by participated in KUBA Maju Bersama the farmers could be easier to promote their products as well as it had higher selling price in market rather than sell it by individual. The farmers income of paddy seed captivity farming in Sako Village Rambutan Subdistrict Banyuasin Regency were in average of Rp. 25.453.583,33 per ha per year. The analysis results showed that the correlation between members performance of the KUBA Maju Bersama with the income of paddy seed captivity farming in Sako Village which used Spearman rank correlation statistical test at significance level a = 0.05. The results obtained that rshitung- 0,349 while the rs labei= 0,305 so that rs hitung > rs tabie, it means the decision is reject Ho, it means that there was a correlation between the members performance of the KUBA Maju Bersama with the income of paddy seed captivity farming in Sako Village.
