Abstract

Instagram merupakan salah satu platform media sosial yang digemari oleh masyarakat Indonesia untuk berbagi informasi tentang perkembangan yang terjadi salah satunya ketika pemilihan umum 2024. Tingginya sebaran komentar-komentar yang berisi polaritas dan polarisasi antara kelompok pendukung kandidat atau partai yang berbeda menjadikannya sebagai objek penelitian yang akan dianalisis menggunakan algoritma naïve bayes. Dari penelitian tersebut didapatkan hasil bahwa sentimen netral mendominasi dengan proporsi 52,5% (1580 komentar), sedangkan pada sentimen positif lebih tinggi daripada negatif. Sentimen positif berjumlah 27,6% (830 komentar), pada sentimen negatif berjumlah 19,9% (598 komentar). Pada pengujian akurasi menggunakan cross validation didapatkan akurasi sebesar 76,08% dengan standar deviasi yang relatif kecil.
