Abstract

The aim of this study was to: (1) compare the income of farmers participating in Plantation Revitalization and Revaningsing in the village of Tirta Makmur Air Kumbang District, Banyuasin (2) Analyze the contribution income of farmers participating in Plantation Revitalization and Revaningsing of oil palm plantations on the income of oil palm farmers’ family. This research was conducted in the Tirta Makmur Village of Air Kumbang District Banyuasin. The data were collected in july 2014. The sampling method used was disproportionate stratified sampling. The data was consisted of primary data and secondary data. Based on the results of the study, the average income of farmers participating in Plantation Revitalization program in PT Andira Agro is greater than the average income of Revaningsing farmers that 51,07% and the income received farmers’ reaningsing amounted to 48,92%. Furthermore, the revenue contribution from the oil palm farming activities to total income farmers Plantation Revitalization is 26,74%, which means that the contribution is not dominant against the total income of farmers and the contribution of income from farming activities of oil palm on the total income of farmers amounted 27,38% Revitalization Plantation which means that the contribution is not dominant against the total income of farmers and .
