Abstract

The main objective of this study is to asses land use and water management on farm’s management the exist in tertiary 1 until 4 in the village mulyasari subdistrcit tanjung lago district banyuasin. Semi-detailed survey was used as research methods with area sampling area of 8 ha where 1 point sampling representing 4 ha. Intake of sample points per 300 m, so that there are two sampling points in 8 ha while the other one sampling point is the control or differentiator of this research field. 1.Pengamatan parameters observed rainfall, 2. The farm, 3).Network system water system, 4). Operation floodgate, 5) Land use, 6) The physical properties of the soil. Tertiary study results 1 to 5 villages mulyasari p17-5s block concession area mulyasari quite intensive farming village where in a year that is 2 times planting rice-corn-fallow in setahung (IP 200). Network system water system at the macro level (primary-secondary) good enough or being sendangkan micro level (tertiary-quarter) bad.Specialized tertiary level 0,15m up to 1m in overgrown weeds water. While 0cm-30cm and 30cm-60cm textured clayey loam to clay predominantly brown color combination is grayish brown, soil permeability field using the method augerhole shows 1,34cm / h up to 5,45cm / h while the water content can reach 90% The highest bulk density of 1.20, and the highest total pore space 74.42. The physical properties of texture, color, permeability, moisture content, kerpatan content and total pore space will affect the type of crops and land use for tertiary 1 to 4.
