Abstract

The Access application by KAI, developed by PT. Kereta Api Indonesia, is designed to simplify the process for train passengers in booking various types of tickets. However, users have expressed dissatisfaction with the system's performance, indicating issues that require further improvement. Therefore, an evaluation and recommendations are needed to enhance the application's performance and user experience, so it can provide better service. Additionally, an admin design blueprint is required as a reference for redesign. To improve and redesign the system, Human-Centered Design (HCD) is chosen as the methodology to better understand user needs. The design evaluation uses the System Usability Scale (SUS) method. Based on the evaluation results, the SUS score obtained is 80 with a grade of B, which falls under the "good" category, approaching excellent. This result shows that the recommended design improvements are well-received by users. Keywords: Human Centered Design (HCD), System Usability Scale (SUS)
