Abstract
The objectives of this research were to valuate the potential genetic and yields of corn genotipes obtained from recurrent selection in marginal dry land which becomed development target. This research was conducted in the field trials of Agro Techo Park (ATP), Ministry of Research and Technology, South Sumatera from Juli to October 2013. The experimental design give used was randomized complete block design with 3 replications and 54 varieties plus 2 parental strains and 1 control. Experimental unit per replication was the entry number of corn genotype. The treatments consisted of three corn efficient genotypes B41, S201, L164, Lamuru genotipe and Sukmaraga as varieties comparative varities. All treatment units were given normal doses of fertilizers that were 100% of standard dose of ATP (300 kg of Urea, 100 kg of SP-36 and 50 kg of KCL Ha). After further selection against nutrient efficient genotipes (B41, S201 and L164) were adaptive to be cultivated in marginal land and might increase the productivity between genotypes F (Hybrid) had good adaptation and high yield compared to genotypes on the other land A (B41) A1, A10, A25, A46, A52 genotype was recommended to be developed because it had good adaptation to environment showed by the good performance for plant height and leaf chlorophyll content.
