Abstract

Completeness of basic immunization for babies is still a serious problem in Indonesia. The achievement of complete basic immunization indicators in 2020-2021 has not yet met the Indonesian Ministry of Health's target of 95% for 2023, and the World Health Organization (WHO) target of 99%. In the Tanjung Batu Community Health Center working area, complete basic immunization coverage for babies aged 0-12 months will reach 90% in 2022, which is still below the national target. This study aims to identify factors that hinder the completion of complete basic immunization in children aged 0-12 months at the Tanjung Batu Community Health Center, Ogan Ilir Regency, South Sumatra. The method used in this research is quantitative with a cross sectional approach. The number of samples in this study was 100 respondents. The sampling technique in this research was carried out using the Purposive Sampling Technique, namely by considering certain criteria in the sample. It was concluded that based on the results of the bivariate analysis that had been carried out, all the variables that had been studied statistically had a significant relationship. This is indicated by the results of obtaining a p value <0.05, which means that all the variables that have been tested are related to each other. Suggestions from the research are addressed to the Ogan Ilir District Health Service, Tanjung Batu Community Health Center, Community Leaders, Social and Cultural Community and Families which focus on education and information related to Immunization, this education and information can contain the importance of immunization, the purpose of immunization, various types of immunization.
