Abstract

Pabrik pembuatan propilen oksida dengan kapasitas produksi 60.000 ton/tahun ini direncanakan berdiri pada tahun 2024 di Wilayah Mauk, Tangerang Banten yang diperkirakan memiliki luas area sebesar 3,7 Ha. Bahan baku dari pembuatan propilen oksida ini adalah propena (propilena) dan hidrogen peroksida. Proses pembuatan propilen oksida ini mengacu pada US Patent 9,738,616 B2 dengan proses epoksidasi antara propena dan hidrogen peroksida yang bereaksi membentuk propilen oksida dan air. Reaktor yang digunakan adalah multitubullar fixed bed reactor. Reaktor beroperasi pada temperatur 55oC dan tekanan 20 bar. Pabrik ini akan didirikan dengan menganut bentuk perusahaan perseroan terbatas (PT) dengan sistem organisasi Line and Staff, yang dipimpin oleh seorang Direktur dengan total karyawan 158 orang. Berdasarkan hasil analisa ekonomi, pabrik propilen oksida ini layak untuk didirikan karena telah memenuhi berbagai macam persyaratan parameter ekonomi, yaitu sebagai berikut: • Total Capital Investment (TCI) = US$ 20.187.656,034 • Total Production Cost (TPC) = US$ 123.328.753,348 • Total Penjualan per Tahun (SP) = US$ 144.000.000 • Annual Cash Flow = US$ 16.029.671,899 • Pay Out Time = 1,141 tahun • Rate of Return = 71,677% • Break Even Point = 37,848% • Servise Life = 11 tahun Kata Kunci: Propena, Hidrogen peroksida, Propilen Oksida, Multitubullar Fixed Bed Reactor, Analisa Ekonomi
