Abstract

This study aims to examine the influence of transparency and accountability on the performance of Civil Servants (PNS) in supporting the implementation of good governance at the Secretariat of the Bangka Regency DPRD. This study uses a quantitative approach, with a population of 41 PNS at the Secretariat of the Bangka Regency DPRD, and a research sample of 36 people. Data were collected using a questionnaire distribution method. The results of the study indicate that transparency and accountability as independent variables have a positive influence on the performance of PNS as a dependent variable, both partially and simultaneously. Simultaneously, transparency and accountability contribute 60.68% to PNS performance. The better the openness of information and the ability of civil servants to be accountable for their duties, the better the performance of PNS at the Secretariat of the Bangka Regency DPRD. Based on these findings, to achieve good governance at the Secretariat of the Bangka Regency DPRD, transparency and accountability of work must be continuously improved.
