Abstract

Technological developments in the field of telecommunications continue to grow, one of which is the development of radio communication to communicate through free space. The use of conventional radio still uses hardware that can only be changed in its physical condition. This research makes a FM transceiver system design with Raspberry Pi as a signal generator and RTL-SDR to receive signals and then the noise reduction process is carried out using the RLS algorithm. The data used in this test is in the form of Audio, Images and Videos that can be sent in real-time. There is the addition of AWGN noise with varying values ranging from 5 dB to 30 dB. The results of this study, the system successfully sends and receives audio data, image data and video data at a sending distance of 1 meter to 12 meters indoors. In sending live audio using a microphone, the longest delay is 3.35 seconds and the shortest delay is 1.50 seconds. Noise reduction using the RLS algorithm shows optimal results with the highest SNR values of 84.6 dB on Audio data, 76.28 dB on Image data and 51.98 dB on Video data, respectively. The lowest MSE values obtained after testing are 9,16 × 10^(-14) on Audio data, 3,05 × 10^(-15) on Image data and 15.58 on Video data.
