Abstract

Ceratocystis species are plant pathogens that can infect various species of herbaceous and timber plants, both in agricultural production and natural ecosystems. Ceratocystis is a wilt disease in duku plants, this type of wilt is also called sudden death. Research on wilt disease in duku plants in South Sumatra has been carried out in several districts, one of which is Ogan Komering Ulu (OKU) district. Wilt disease in duku plants has been reported to have spread, one of which is in Ogan Komering Ulu Regency, namely Kepayang Village, Kartamulya Village, Belatung Village, Pengaringan Village, and Singapore Village. This study aims to determine the influence of plant varieties, insect and squirrel populations in various categories of L. domesticum gardens. The results of the study showed that the diversity of a plant variety in each garden category had different diversity, the INP value in the healthy category garden < 100, while in the medium and severe category of plantations 100 > INP < 250. Each category of gardens has a different composition of orders, families, and classes, where in the category of healthy gardens the number of orders, families, and classes has the highest number compared to gardens in the medium and severe categories. The insect populations found in each garden category are very different, in the category of medium and severe gardens insects are more common than in healthy gardens insects are rarely or not found. while squirrel populations in each category of gardens have different existences, in healthy gardens squirrels are rarely found compared to gardens that are moderately and severely affected.
