Abstract

This study aims to determine the role of perceived organizational support on turnover intention in early career employees. The hypothesis of this study is that there is a role of perceived organizational support on turnover intention in early career employees. The population in this study were early career employees. The number of samples in this study were 189 employees and 50 employees for the try out. The sampling technique used was purposive sampling. This study uses measuring instruments that refer to the indicators of turnover intention by Mobley, Horner, and Hollingsworth (1978) and the dimensions of perceived organizational support by Rhoades and Eisenberger (2002). Data were analyzed using simple regression analysis techniques. The results of the regression analysis showed the R square value between perceived organizational support and turnover intention was 0.544, the F value was 222,865, and the significance value was 0.000 (p < 0.05). These findings indicate that perceived organizational support has a role on turnover intention significantly so that the hypothesis proposed in this study can be accepted.
