Abstract
The aims of this research are to formulate a pharmaceutical model with various demand variations, obtain the optimal solution for the model using exact and heuristic methods, and apply the model using actual data and numerical data. This research was conducted in two stages. The first stage was a literature review and model formulation as well as model implementation on pharmaceutical drug supply data at Pharmacy X in Palembang using the Wagner Within Algorithm, Period Order Quantity Method, and Silver Meal Method. The next stage of model development is model formulation and model solutions based on demand variations, namely linear, exponential and cubic. The use of Period Order Quantity Method, Silver Meal Heuristic and Wagner Within Algorithm on Apotex X data obtained more optimal results than without using these methods. The optimal result of the three methods is the Period Order Quantity Method. The development of a deteriorating inventory model based on linear, exponential, and cubic demand levels using numerical data obtained results that differ significantly for the cubic case. The optimal result is in the linear case. The results of the sensitivity analysis to changes in the value of total cost are that there is an increase for every increase in parameters for the linear case, there is a large increase in (TC) in the cubic case, and there is a fluctuating change in the value of that there is an increase and also a decrease in the exponential case. Keywords: Period Order Quantity Method, Silver Meal Heuristic and Wagner Within Algorithm, deteriorating, linear, exponential, cubic
