Abstract
This research aims to develop Canva media berbasis canva-based learning media on megalithic heritage material at SDN 16 Lahat Regency using the Hannafin and Peck model through the stages of needs analysis, design, development and validation. A needs analysis identified a lack of student understanding of the megalithic material, while the design stage produced engaging interactive and visual content using Canva. Validation by experts showed very positive results, with material, media and language aspect scores of 83%, 78.75% and 96.6% respectively, all of which were in the very valid category. The field test involving 21 students showed a significant increase in understanding, with an average pretest score of 40,00 increasing to 83.8 on the posttest, as well as an N-Gain of 0.71 which is in the high category, of students reached the good category to very good. This media berbasis canva has proven effective in supporting various learning styles through its attractive visual design and interactivity. Although the research is limited to one school and faces technological infrastructure constraints, these results provide a significant contribution to the development of relevant and effective technology-based learning media, especially in supporting learning about history and local culture.
