Abstract

Rubber is the main source of income for the people of Bukit Batu Village. This study aims to: (1) Compare the production of rubber farmers during abscission and non-abscission in Bukit Batu Village, Pangkalan Lampam District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency (2) Compare the income of rubber farmers during abscission and non-abscission in Bukit Batu Village, Pangkalan Lampam District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency (3) analysis the factors that influence rubber farmer income during abscission and non-abscission in Bukit Batu Village, Pangkalan Lampam District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. This study was conducted in September 2024 with a sample size of 37 household heads calculated using the simple random sampling method. The research data was processed with the help of the SPSS program using the paired sample t-test and multiple linear regression. (1) The results of the study showed that there was a significant difference in rubber production during abscission and non-abscission, which was 105,757 Kg/Ha/Month; (2) There was a significant difference in rubber income during abscission and non-abscission, which was Rp468.324,324 Ha/Month; (3) Production, land area, planting age, abscission, non-abscission and education had a significant effect on the income of abscission and non-abscission farmers, while other variables, namely, planting age, family members do not have a significant effect.
