Abstract

The Canva application is a popular application in the field of education, especially for students because Canva offers templates that can be used to create interesting and creative presentations. But on the other hand, Canva still has not shown success in providing user satisfaction, especially students, in achieving their goals. So to find out what obstacles are faced by users, it is necessary to evaluate usability and user experience in the canva application using the User Experience Questionnare (UEQ) and System Usability Scale (SUS) methods. The evaluation research was conducted on students of the Faculty of Computer Science, Sriwijaya University class of 2022-2024. The results of the User Experience Questionnaire (UEQ) analysis explain that the Class of 2022 has a better user experience than the Class of 2023 to 2024, the mean value of the efficiency scale (Efficiency) in the class of 2023 gets a low score. The results of the analysis on the System Usability Scale (SUS) obtained the highest value of class 2024, namely 83.1 while the lowest value is class 2022 worth 77.3. Overall, all batches fall into the “acceptable” level in the Acceptability category. In the grade scale category, all batches entered the “B” level, while in the adjective grades category, the 2022 batch entered the “Good” level, the 2023 and 2024 batches entered the “Excellent” level. It can be concluded that the Canva Application is acceptable and the class of 2022-2024 already has a good user experience, but improvements still need to be made, especially in the efficiency aspect.
