Abstract

The occurrence of climate change threatens the agricultural sector which can disrupt the welfare of farmers in farming activities through decreased income from production due to the threat of climate change. The Climate Smart Agriculture Technology approach is used as an approach to increase productivity, increase resilience, and as a mitigation measure against environmental pollution originating from the agricultural sector. The objectives of this study are to (1) analyzing the level of adoption of Climate Smart Agriculture technology, (2) analyzing the welfare of farmers, and (3) analyzing the effect of the level of adoption on the welfare of farmers. This research was conducted in Srikaton Village, Buay Madang Timur District, using survey method, sampling using simple random sampling, and data analysis using SmartPLS to analyze influence data. The results showed that the level of adoption of Climate Smart Agriculture technology is in the high category, the welfare of farmers is in the high category, and the level of adoption affects welfare positively and significantly.
