Abstract

Swampland is one of suboptimal land that had potential in order to support rice production in Indonesia. The Development got the obstacle which were low fertile so that Plant nutrient absorbtion would decrease and need a practice of Fertilizing. So that, research was conducted to used liquid fertilizer from organic materials that wishfully could improve fertility in swampland so that The efficiency of Phosphate Absorbtion on Plant also would be improved. This research was conducted from August to November 2015 in Sungai Pedado Village, Keramasan, Kertapatisubdistrict, Palembang. The treatments were used with method by Factorial Block Randomized Design comprises with two treatment factors, which were 1) doses of liquid fertilizer with 0 litre ha-1 (C0) and 750 litre ha-1 (C1). 2) Doses of P fertilizers, which were 0 kg ha-1 (P0), 100 kg ha-1 (P1), 150 kg ha-1 (P2) and 200 kg ha-1 (P3). Parameters observed that are the soil properties analysis, dried weight of plant stover, phosphorus content on paddy, phosphorus uptake on paddy and the efficiency of phosphorus uptake on paddy. The results showed that application of liquid fertilizer did not significantly affect to the efficiency of nutrient uptake but P fertilizer with 100 kg ha-1 could be increased nutrient uptake and the efficiency of nutrient uptake on paddy with 16,16%. While the combination treatment of P fertilizer with 150 kg ha-1 and liquid fertilizer with 750 litre ha-1 was increased to dried wight of plant stover and P content in paddy. The best combination treatment that were 100 kg ha-1 of P fertilizer and 0 litre ha-1 liquid fertilizer.
