Abstract

Teenagers obesity is an increasing health problem in indonesia, mianly due to fast food consumption. Teenagers health is one of crucial aspects of sustainable community development. Teenagers is a period of significant transition from childhood to adulthood, where varios physical, emotional, and social changes occur. This period also determines the information of habits and behaviors that will affect the health and well-being of individuals in the future. Therefore, efforts to maintain and improve health are a very important investment in the future of an nation. This study aims to explore the relationship between fast food consumption and the incidence of obesity in teenagers in Indonesia. The literature review method was used to collect and analyze data from various relevant studies. The result showed that there is a significant correlation between fast food consumption and the incidence of obesity in adolescents in Indonesia. This is evidenced by 6 out of 9 research articles stating that there is an association between fast food consumption and the incidence of obesity in adolescents. For this reason, it is important to emphasize interventions that involve the promotion and education of healthy eating patters for adolescent and parents to reduce fast food consumption and prevent the incidence of obestyin adolescents.
