Abstract

This research was analyzing about law protection to the Reog Ponorogo art culture that claimed by foreign side at past 2007, by discussinging general review the intellectual property rights . The copyrights on the intellectual property as generally had been admitted based on international law and as well national law. This has been proven by creating the international conventions and also the other rules that set the copyrights. That some rules could be from TRIPS agreement ( Agreement on Trade Related of Intellectual Property Rights ) In International scale. That discuss about copyright protection in it . The appearance dispute about the claim act of Indonesia art culture heritage signifies that till nowdays. The concept to ptotect couldn’t be realized optimally yet or even it still doesn’t have the rules explicity enough to give the ptotection of art culture heritage about violation of copyrights , this paper had purpose to making know about law protect to Reog Ponorogo Cultural Property in Indonesia . By using normative research method , can be found the conclude , the government and as well the intantions had done the efforts of enforcement law.
