Abstract
The objective of this study was to determine the effect of N, P, and K fertilizer on ratoon rice cultivation system in tidal swamp land. The method used was a factorial randomized block design with three replications. The first factor was two varieties of Kwanfu 401 and IR 24 varieties. The second factor was fertilizer with five treatments, without fertilizer, N, NP, NK and NPK fertilizers with dose of N (Urea 100 kg ha-1), P (SP-36 75 kg ha-1) and K (KCl 50 kg ha-1). The results showed that both varieties and dose of fertilizers affected yield of ratoon. IR 24 with additional NP fertilizer showed the highest grain yield of ratoon. Rice varieties showed different respons to fertilizer applications, Kwanfu 401 needed additional Nitrogen fertilizer to improve its ratoon grain yield. Whereas, IR 24 needed Nitrogen and Phosphor fertilizers.
