Abstract

This study aimed to analyze the participation of farmer groups in the rice farmer insurance assistance program (AUTP) in Ulak Bandung Village, Ujanmas District, Muara Enim Regency. This study used the concept of Margono Slamet's Participation. This research method qualitative was, descriptive qualitative research design. The research location was in Ulak Bandung Village, Ujanmas District, Muara Enim Regency. Determination of informants intentionally. The unit of analysis is the group, namely the farmer group. Data collection techniques are observation, interview and documentation. The research strategy is a case study. The data checking and validity techniques used are triangulation of crackers and triangulation of techniques. Data analysis techniques are condensation data, presentation data and conclusion checking. In brief, the results of this study regarding farmer group participation are seen from the factors of participation and factors affecting farmer participation, namely, the form of participation of farmer groups there are 4 namely participation in the AUTP program socialization and decision making, participation in the implementation of the AUTP program, participation in relation to changes in the AUTP program and participation in the AUTP program. Factors that affect farmer groups consist of 4 factors: opportunity, willingness, program opportunities and activeness of farmer groups.
