Abstract
Irrigation water gate was one of the supporting components of agricultural activities, especially the management of rice fields, because it was utilized in the management of water flow. The implementation of water gate has a complex and interdependent set of tasks. So that was the problem which can made undesired effects. So that, the planning can be shorted by computer design . Besides, the changes in a design could be overcome quickly and precisely. The purpose of this research is to the hydrological analysis in the form of design discharge, The results of the design discharge will be used Q100 years as discharge data for modeling design into HEC-RAS software. Produce a design for water gates for primary and secondary channels at the Dadahup Village location, Kapuas Regency, in the form of water gate dimensions in the form of door height, door width, door opening height, maximum hydrostatic force acting on the water gate, water gate material and water gate drive system.. The place to do the research was Dadahup Village, Kapuas Regency, Central Kalimantan. The results of the study were the design of water gate by using data output data with HEC-RAS. The design discharge used for the design is Q100 with a value of 3,033 m³/s. The design of the sluice gate for the primary and secondary channels, in the form of sluice gate dimensions, in the form of a door width of 0.86 m at the primary sluice gate and 0.89 at the secondary sluice gate, the height of the door opening is 1.5 m at the primary sluice gate and 1.51 at the secondary sluice gate, the maximum hydrostatic force acting on the sluice gate is 7.13 kN, the sluice gate material uses steel with a plate thickness of 8 mm and the sluice gate drive system used is a manual/mechanical type with a capacity of 10.695 kN. These water gate openings were used when the plant's water requirements are highest.
