Abstract
The purpose of this research is to describe the forms of expressive speech acts in the film Jalan yang Jauh, Jangan Lupa Pulang based on John Searle's theory and analyze its implications for Indonesian language learning in high school. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The data in this research are the dialogues from the film Jalan yang Jauh, Jangan Lupa Pulang directed by Angga Dwimas Sasongko. The data collection technique used in this research is the observation and note-taking technique, and the data analysis method uses the pragmatic equivalence method.
