Abstract
Stunting is a health issue that requires a multisectoral approach for its prevention. This study aims to analyze the convergence coordination in accelerating stunting reduction carried out by the Health Office, the Population Control and Family Planning Office, and the Regional Development Planning. Research, and Development Agency in Palembang City, as well as to examine the implementation of Collaborative Governance in the success of the program. This research applies the Collaborative Governance theory proposed by Ansell and Gash (2008), focusing on Starting Condition, Facilitative Leadership, Institutional Design, Collaborative Process, and Outcomes. The study employs a descriptive qualitative approach, utilizing data collection techniques such as in• depth interviews with relevant informants, observations, and documentation. Previous studies have primarily examined the risk factors for stunting related to health, socio-economic conditions, and environmental factors. However, there remains a gap in understanding how cross-sectoral coordination through the Collaborative Governance approach can accelerate stunting reduction. Therefore, this study seeks to fill this gap by analyzing the synergy between agencies in Palembang City in efforts to accelerate stunting reduction.
