Abstract
This study aims to develop a fantasy story text learning media based on Animaker for class VII students at MTs Negeri 1 Palembang. The type of research used is a research with the Research and Development (R&D) method. Animaker-based learning media in learning fantasy story texts for class VII students at MTs Negeri 1 Palembang was developed based on an analysis of the needs of students and teachers. Furthermore, product design was carried out by making a flowchart and storyboard. Then, it was continued with the development of the initial form of the product, validation test, and product revision. The validation test consists of 3 aspects, namely media validation, material validation, and language validation. The results of the media validation obtained a total value of 44 out of 12 indicators with a feasibility percentage of 91.66%. The results of the material validation obtained a total value of 32 out of 10 indicators with a feasibility percentage of 80%. The results of the language validation obtained a total value of 38 out of 10 indicators with a feasibility percentage of 90%. Based on the validation results, the Animaker-based learning media in learning fantasy story texts for class VII students at MTs Negeri 1 Palembang is very feasible to use.
