Abstract

This study aims to analyze the need for the product, produce a product in the form of an e-module, and conduct an expert validation test of the teaching material product in the form of an e-module for folklore writing material at SMA Negeri 15 Palembang. This study uses the Alessi and Trollip research and development model. This digital module was developed by referring to the needs analysis questionnaire, as well as interviews with students and teachers. Based on the results of the needs analysis, the results were 81.78% for student analysis and 76.75% for teacher analysis. While the average analysis of teacher and student needs was 79.26% with the category of really needing an e-module product to support learning to write folklore at SMA Negeri 15 Palembang. Furthermore, product design and development were carried out starting from the planning stage such as designing learning concepts, making flowcharts and storyboards, preparing materials, and combining designs and supporting elements. Then an initial product trial was carried out through expert validation and continued to revise the product according to suggestions from the validator. Expert validation was carried out by obtaining product assessments on the aspects of material, media, and language. In the material aspect, the overall component score is 88 and the product gets a score of 79 (89.77%) or very feasible. In the media aspect, the maximum component score is 60 and the product gets a score of 54 (90%) or very feasible. In the linguistic aspect, the overall component score is 44 and the product gets a score of 40 (90.90%) or very feasible. With an average validation result of 90.22% with a very feasible category. Based on expert assessment, the e-module product for folklore writing material is very feasible and can be continued to the dissemination stage.
