Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui tingkat kebugaran siswa ekstrakurikuler bola basket SMAN 8 Palembang. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian deskriptif kuantitatif, dengan menggunakan metode survei dan teknik pengumpulan data berupa tes dan pengukuran. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah Tes Kebugaran Pelajar Nusantara (TKPN). Populasi penelitian ini ialah seluruh siswa yang mengikuti ekstrakurikuler bola basket sebanyak 20 siswa, sampel penelitian ini menggunakan purposive sampling yaitu 20 siswa putra yang berumur 16-19 tahun. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa tingkat kebugaran jasmani siswa ekstrakurikuler bola basket SMAN 8 Palembang dengan kategori Baik Sekali dengan persentase 15% sebanyak 3 orang, Baik dengan persentase 65% sebanyak 13 orang, Cukup dengan persentase 20% sebanyak 4 orang, Kurang dengan persentase 0% sebanyak 0 orang dan kurang Sekali dengan persentase 0% sebanyak 0 orang. Dari uraian tersebut menunjukan bahwa hasil tes kebugaran jasmani pada siswa Ekstrakurikuler Bola Basket SMA Negeri 8 Palembang dalam kategori Baik.
