Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan kecepatan lari sprint 50 meter dan power otot tungkai dengan hasil lompatan lompat jauh gaya jongkok (tuck style) pada siswa putra kelas X SMA Negeri 19 Palembang. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode korelasi. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian random sampling yaitu menggunakan sebagian peserta didik dari seluruh siswa putra kelas X SMA Negeri 19 Palembang sebanyak 44 orang. Teknik yang digunakan untuk mengumpulkan data adalah teknik tes, teknik analisis data menggunakan uji korelasi menggunakan regresi ganda. Hasil penelitian menunjukan bahwa secara bersama-sama lari sprint 50 meter dan power otot tungkai tidak berhubungan dengan hasil lompat jauh gaya jongkok (Tuck style) yang dibuktikan dari hasil analisis chi kuadrat (chi square) yang memperoleh bahwa tolak H0 ≥ F tabel 0,05. Berarti tidak ada hubungan Lari Sprint 50 meter dan power otot tungkai dengan hasil Lompat jauh gaya jongkok (tuck style) pada putra kelas X SMA Negeri 19 Palembang.
