Abstract

Calorific value of semi antracite coal could be improved by decreasing of cash content by using agglomeration method. A fraction of coal with 13.25% ash and 7482 kcal/kg calorific value, be mixed water and palm oil or also crude palm oil (CPO) to be agitated in a stainless steel cylinder to produce agglomerates. The product is clean coal, with lower ash content (3.19%) and higher calorific value (8392 kcal/kg).
