Abstract

In this research, researchers analyzed the financial feasibility of fish cultivation businesses using the biofloc system at the Khoiru Ummah School, Palembang City. The objectives of this research are: (1) Calculating the feasibility level of the Biofloc System Fish Cultivation business at the Tahfidz Khoiru Ummah School in Palembang. (2) Analyze the level of financial feasibility of the biofloc system fish cultivation business at the Tahfidz Khoiru Ummah Palembang school. (3) Analysis of the sensitivity of the financial feasibility of the biofloc system fish cultivation business at the Tahfidz Khoiru Ummah Palembang school. This research was carried out at the Khoiru Ummah School, Palembang City and was carried out from July to December 2024. The data used is primary data and secondary data. The results of this research indicate that the biofloc system fish farming business is feasible to develop, including management aspects, legal aspects, market aspects and environmental aspects as well as several feasibility criteria, namely Net Present Value of IDR. 7.447.814,46,-, Internal Rate of Return 67%, Net B/C 1,937, Gross B/C 1,599 and payback period 4,05 month. Financial feasibility analysis using a 10% selling price increase variable shows that the NPV value obtained is IDR. 9.435.155,62, IRR 80%, Net B/C 2,187, Gross B/C 1,759 and payback period 4,05 month and a 10% increase in the production price of catfish seeds shows an NPV value of Rp. 7.219.418,88, IRR 66%, Net B/C 1.908, Gross B/C 1.571 and payback period 4,05 month so that the biofloc system fish cultivation business based on the Khoiruh Ummah School in Palembang City is feasible to develop.
