Abstract

This study examines the "Evaluation of the Independent One Village Onc Product (OVOP) Program by Desakumuaraenim". The One Village One Product (OVOP) program or one village one product program is one of the strategic program initiatives of the Desakumuaraenim Startup organization to improve community welfare through the development of superior village products based on local potential in the Muara Enim Regency area. This study aims to analyze and describe the results of the evaluation of community empowerment using the One Village One Product (OVOP) Mandiri method carried out by Desakumuaraenim. The One Village One Product (OVOP) Mandiri program does not depend on government funds. The One Village One Product (OVOP) Mandiri program is one that does not have any interference from the government in Indonesia. The pattern of community empowerment carried out is also a pattern of empowerment that comes from the community or bottom-up. Where the community in this case MSMEs submit proposals through proposals to Desakumuaraenim. Then Desakumuaraenim which helps what is needed by UMKM in Muara Enim Regency with the Context, Input, Process, and Product (CIPP) method of Muara Enim Regency. The research conducted uses a qualitative descriptive approach. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and program document analysis. This study uses the empowerment theory from Soeprapto's perspective. The results of this study show that the community empowerment program is a program carried out on the awareness of the community itself to make changes as an effort to develop and utilize existing local potential. Then the desire to change is carried out through a program in the form of batik motif training, songket weaving and typical batik and packaged food processing. This study uses a participatory research model that involves participants or research subjects actively in the research. This research method involves village communities actively in the research process, with the aim of increasing awareness, ability, and participation of village communities in the empowerment process in the village community empowerment program based on the economy. The results of the study show that the Mandiri One Village One Product (OVOP) program has had an impact on improving community skills, creating jobs, and increasing the added value of local products. However, there are several obstacles, such as limited market access, minimal ongoing assistance, and less than optimal use of technology. This study recommends strengthening collaboration between the government, community, and private sector, as well as optimizing digital promotion to support the sustainability of the Mandiri One Village One Product (OVOP) program Keywords: Program Evaluation, Community Empowerment, OVOP, Desakumuaraenim
