Abstract

The policy of Bato Soak Market Management is one of the efforts made by the government in the hope that traditional markets can compete with modern markets regulated by Regional Regulation No. 5/2007 concerning Market Management. In 2017 completed in the middle of the year the Bato Soak Market was finished revitalized and traders began to trade again, but. After this Management, a number of new problems were raised which were collected. Research Evaluation of Bato Soak Market Management Based on Regional Regulation Number 5 of 2007 concerning Market Management. Aim to evaluate the results of policy evaluation using qualitative research methods. Research location in Soak Bato Market, Palembang City. This research uses observation, documentation and interview data collection techniques. The results of the study show that this policy is not effective in its implementation, this can be seen from the main points in policies that have not been implemented properly, this policy is also not efficient in terms of human resources where labor is still more efficient to support the market, in accordance with funding requests This has fulfilled the adequacy because traders as well as the community have fulfilled their needs with the facilities provided also representing the Bato Soak Market. This management has also been responded well by policy recipients, but only traders are still complaining about a number of things to consider that must be resolved.
