Abstract

Tapus Village is one of the villages located in Pampangan District, Ogan Komering Ilir Regency. South Sumatra. Tapus Village already has Alsintan hand tractors that are categorized as sufficient. However, its use and utilization have not been optimal. This study aims to determine a strategy in optimizing Alsintan hand tractors in Tapus Village to support OPLA. The methods used in this study include literature study, gap analysis, SWOT (Strength, Weakness, Opportunity, and Threat) analysis approach, conducting needs and opportunities studies (KKP) and conducting observations and in-depth interviews with informants using questionnaires. The results of the study indicate that the strategy for optimizing Alsintan hand tractors to support OPLA in Tapus Village can be carried out through farmer empowerment through training, socialization, and education on the use and maintenance of hand tractors, increasing the capacity of special operators, Utilization of Alsintan hand tractors that are already available, increasing UPJA and Alsintan workshops in Tapus Village. Furthermore, it is hoped that this research can maintain the sustainability of the implementation of the strategy so that it can run efficiently and effectively.
