Abstract
Pangasius catfish culture using swamp water by applying floating raft aquaponic technology constrained by low pH value and productivity of swamp water. This study aimed to determine the best particle size percentage of golden snail shell lime and the optimal dosage of Azolla sp. liquid organic fertilizer on the culture of pangasius catfish and lettuce plants using a floating raft aquaponic system. This study used a factorial completely randomized design with two treatment factors. The first factor is the difference in the particle size percentage of golden snail shell lime (K) with three levels of treatment: retained on 10 mesh 20%, 20 mesh 20%, 60 mesh 20% and passed through 60 mesh 40% (K1), retained on 10 mesh 20.7%, 20 mesh 22.7%, 60 mesh 55.3% and passed through 60 mesh 1.3% (K2) and the particle size distribution of calcite lime retained on 10 mesh 20.7%, 20 mesh 22.7%, 60 mesh 55.3% and passed through 60 mesh 1.3% (K3). The second factor is the difference in dosage of Azolla sp. liquid organic fertilizer (F) with two levels of treatment: 3 μl L-1 (F1) and 5 μl L-1 (F2) per day, with three replications. The best combination of golden snail shell lime with the particle size distribution retained at 10 mesh 20%, 20 mesh 20%, 60 mesh 20%, and passing through 60 mesh 40% (K1) and liquid organic fertilizer at a dosage of 5 µL L⁻¹ per day (F2), which increased the swamp water pH from 5.23 to 7.90±0.02, nitrate 21.67 mg L⁻¹, phosphor 2.32 mg L⁻¹, potassium 2.85 mg L⁻¹, temperature of 27.20±0.01°C, dissolved oxygen of 7.73 mg L⁻¹, pangasius catfish absolute growth of weight and length 12.29±0.01 g and 8.26±0.09 cm, survival rate 99.67% and total weight of lettuce plants yield 232.14±2.14 g.
