Abstract

Heavy metals chromium (Cr) is one of the environmental contaminants that has the potential to harm crops, especially rice. rice plants, Toxicity of chromium metal is determined by the strength of its ion valence. The objectives of this study are to determine the levels of chromium metal content (Cr) in the roots and tissues of roots and tissues of rice plants (Oryza sativa) in Organic and Organic and Conventional Rice Fields, and to determine the effect of the influence of soil chemical properties (pH, CEC, soil C-Organic) on the availability of metal chromium (Cr) in the roots and plants of rice. rice. The method used in this research is the survey method with scale detail of 1:10,000. Determination of sampling points is done with the Stratified Random Sampling method. Laboratory results showed chromium levels in roots and rice plants in conventional paddy fields reached 107.06 ± 64.99 64.99 64.99 mg/kg and 91.2 ± 46.19 mg/kg, far exceeding the threshold and requiring better land management. better land management is needed, while in organic rice fields it reached 0.45 ± 0.38 mg/kg and 1.76 ± 0.43 mg/kg, respectively. mg/kg classified as not exceeding the threshold.
