Abstract

The objectives of this study were to (1) describe and analyze the implementation of tidal rice farming by members and non-members of the PT TAM Farmers Corporation in Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency, (2) analyze the differences in costs and income of tidal rice farming by members and non-members of the PT TAM Farmers Corporation in Tanjung Lago District, Banyuasin Regency, and (3) analyze the socio-economic factors that influence farmers' decisions to join PT TAM. The study was conducted in Telang Sari Village in December 2024 using a survey method, disproportionate stratified random sampling, and using primary and secondary data. The results showed that the average cost of non-member farmers' farming was higher (Rp. 17,144,836.36). Meanwhile, members' average income and revenue were higher (Rp. 55,968,750 and Rp. 40,295,975) compared to non-members. The independent sample t-test showed a sig. The value (2-tailed) is 0.022 for costs and 0.000 for income, both < 0.05, so there is a significant difference between the costs and income of member and non-member farmers farming businesses.
