Abstract

The research was conducted in Laboratorium Entomology and Green House of Department of Plant Pests and Diseases Faculty of Agriculture, Sriwijaya University, Indralaya, Regency of Ogan Ilir, from September 2014 until february 2015. The aim of this research was to use application liquid biopesticide active substance B. bassiana to mortality and attack of G. bimaculatus with the effect of growth and production ratoon rice. The research method used of Completelly Randomized Block Design (CRBD) with three treatment that is liquid biopesticide active ingredient biopesticide composition B. bassiana with 600 mL of liquid culture extract B. bassiana on EKKU SDB + 100 mL sterile of sucrose, liquid biopesticide active ingredient biopesticide composition B. bassiana with 600 mL B. bassiana on SDB + EKKU 100 mL nir-sterile of sucrose and control that is repeated eight times. The research showed that liquid biopesticide active substance B. bassiana to mortality and attack of G. bimaculatus with hight mortality of market biopesticide in the amount of 79,38 % and low attack of treatment biopesticide 600 Bb of liquid culture extract + 100 EKKU steril is 6,88%. Symptoms of attack in the affected insects are less active movement, overgrown hyphae, and his body hardened. Growth and yield of rice in the treatment of biopesticide active ingredient B. bassiana did not have a significant effect. The conclusion from this research is the application of biopesticide active ingredient B. bassiana at 600 Bb treatment of liquid culture extract + 100 EKKU able to increase the percentage of mortality and pressing the attack nymphs and not effect on the growth and yield of ratun rice. Recommendation from the research is need for further research and application on land directly paddies about biopesticide active ingredient B. bassiana.
