Abstract

The main purpose of study is to know how to farm woman participation in vegetables field, seecond is to measure woman participation in vegetables field and the third is to analize the correlation between farm woman participation in vegetables field and the income. The method used in this research was case study to vegetables farmer where the woman also join in this field at Sukajaya Groove. The data were collected by primer and secunder. Primer data collected by interview to all the farmer especially baby corn and peanut. Secunder data were done gotten by the general places and some text'books for the writer. The sample was done by purposive method, where it takes from the farmer which plant baby corn and peanut in monoculture in one field. Total of all the farmer was 12 people. The data was taken from April until June 2005 and field data was collected in the beginning of July 2005. The result shows that farm woman participation in this activity like land process, plant, take care, harvest and marketing. Farm woman participation in this field is in middle level with score 44,375. The average of the woman worker in this field is 125,5 /hours/lg/mt Family income from vegetables field is 779.452,89 Rupias/lg/mt. Woman income is about 42,68 % or 332.670,49 Rupias/lg/mt. Man income is 57,49 % or 446.82,407 Rupias/lg/mt. Family income average from vegetables farmer and non vegetables farm is 1.157.786,23 Rupias/lg/mt. Which non vegetables farmer only a man with income is 378.333,33 rupias/mt ang woman is 0. The result shown by the the coefficien value of Spearman Rank Correlation Test for this reseach is rs = 0,600 and the overall real significance at a 0,05 is 0,506. The meaning is there corelation between woman participation and vegetables field income.
