Abstract
Social media applications are online platforms used to share information in the form of text and video and interact such as commenting and liking content that has been shared, and can also communicate virtually using the chat feature. As such, the X and Threads applications are also social media that are widely used in Indonesia based on the ratings given on the Google Play store. The purpose of this study is to obtain the user experience of social media X and Threads using the Mecue Questionnaire 2.0 method and to determine the advantages of the two applications if tested based on the Mecue Questionnaire 2.0 method. The Mecue Questionnare 2.0 method consists of 5 modules and 10 instruments with 34 statement items that will be answered by respondents through a questionnaire totaling 102 respondents, where X gets the highest score on the Usability indicator with a value of 5.77 and gets the lowest score on the Commitment indicator with a value of 3.71 while Threads gets the highest score on the Usability indicator with a value of 5.64 and gets the lowest score on the Overall Evaluation indicator with a value of 2.8. Then the average value can be seen in Module V which is the Overall Evaluation indicator obtained by the X application of 3.8 and the Threads application of 2.8 which means the X application is superior to the Threads application when assessed as a whole.
