Abstract

Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui peningkatan keaktifan dan hasil belajar siswa pada mata pelajaran kimia di kelas XI IPA 3 SMA Negeri 1 Prabumulih dengan menerapkan strategi Peer Lessons. Teknik pengumpulan data menggunakan lembar observasi dan tes pada tiap akhir siklus. Hasil penelitian diperoleh bahwa hasil belajar siswa dari T0 adalah 68,67, T1 adalah 77,43, T2 adalah 82,56, dan T3 adalah 84,10 sedangkan persentase keaktifan siswa diperoleh data yaitu T1 adalah 52,19%, T2 adalah 59,68%, dan T3 adalah 74,25%. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa penerapan strategi Peer Lessons dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar dan keaktifan siswa. Saran kepada peneliti lain untuk dapat melanjutkan penelitian ini mengenai pengaruh tingkat motivasi belajar siswa dengan adanya penerapan strategi Peer Lessons.
