Abstract
This study aims to analyze the differences in labor productivity between men and women based on economic, social, and technological indicators. The data used is panel data from 10 provinces on Sumatra Island for the period 2015–2023, obtained from the Central Bureau of Statistics (BPS), the National Labor Force Survey (Sakernas), and the Ministry of Manpower. The analytical method employed is panel data regression using the Fixed Effect Model approach. The results show that the provincial minimum wage has a negative and insignificant effect on male productivity, while it has a negative and significant effect on female productivity. Life expectancy has a negative and significant effect for males, but a negative and insignificant effect for females. Meanwhile, the Human Development Index (HDI) and the ICT Development Index (IDI) have positive and significant effects on both genders.
