Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah terjadi penurunan atau kenaikan jumlah pengrajin aluminium di desa Tajung Atap, Kecamatan Tanjung Batu, Kabupaten Ogan ilir tahun 2018 hingga tahun 2024. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode kualitatif berupa observasi, wawancara dan studi pustaka melalui langkah penelitian historis yaitu heuristik, kritik sumber, interpretasi, dan historiografi. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan adanya penurunann jumlah pengrajin aluminum dari tahun 2018 hingga tahun 2024, penurunan jumlah pengrajin aluminium terjadi dipengaruhi oleh beberapa faktor. Salah satunya yaitu adanya kenaikan harga bahan baku mentah kerajinan aluminium, yang terus naik hingga tahun 2024. Penurunan jumlah pengrajin aluminum mengakibatkan banyak pemuda desa tidak berminat untuk mempelajari dan mewarisi ketrampilan kerajinan aluminium ini, dalam jangka panjang hal ini dapat menyebabkan hilangnya identitas Desa Tanjung Atap sebagai desa pengrajin aluminum. Kata kunci: Pengrajin Aluminium, Penurunan, Pendapatan.
