Abstract

Pabrik pembuatan Propil Asetat dengan kapasitas produksi 190.000 ton/tahun direncanakan akan berdiri pada tahun 2030 di Jalan Asia Raya, Citangkil, Kota Cilegon, Provinsi Banten dengan luas 12 ha. Propil Asetat pada pabrik ini disintesis dari bahan baku Asam Asetat dan Propanol menggunakan katalis tanah liat putih yang dimodifikasi dengan asam p-toluenesulfonat dalam Multitubular Fixed bed reactor berdasarkan Patent CN116751123A. Reaksi berlangsung pada temperatur 158,9oC dan tekanan 0,394 atm. Pabrik ini berbentuk Perseroan Terbatas (PT) dengan sistem organisasi line and staff yang dipimpin oleh seorang direktur dengan karyawan sebanyak 151 orang. Pabrik Propil Asetat layak untuk didirikan karena telah memenuhi parameter kelayakan ekonomi:  Investasi = US $ 67.153.409,41  Hasil penjualan per tahun = US $ 408.806.885,92  Biaya produksi per tahun = US $ 301.264.886,09  Laba bersih per tahun = US $ 81.383.644,79  Pay out time = 1,114 tahun  Rate of return on investment = 89,68%  Discounted cash flow = 94,17%  Break even point = 30,06%  Service life = 11 tahun
