Abstract

Pabrik pembuatan magnesium sulfat dari magnesium oksida dan asam sulfat dengan kapasitas produksi 270.000 ton/tahun ini direncanakan berdiri pada tahun 2033 di Kecamatan Watuagung, Kabupaten Gresik, Provinsi Jawa Timur dengan perkiraan luas area sebesar 8,2 Ha. Bahan baku untuk pembuatan magnesium sulfat ini mengacu pada patent WO 2023/237737 A1 dengan proses netralisasi magnesium oksida dan asam sulfat yang membentuk magnesium sulfat. Reaktor yang digunakan adalah reaktor tipe Continuous Stirred Tank Reactor yang beroperasi pada temperatur 70°C dan tekanan 1 atm. Pabrik ini berbentuk Perseroan Terbatas (PT) dengan sistem organisasi Line and Staff, dipimpin oleh seorang Direktur Utama dengan total karyawan 165 orang. Berdasarkan Analisis ekonomi, pabrik magnesium sulfat ini layak untuk didirikan karena telah memenuhi parameter kelayakan ekonomi yaitu : a. Total Capital Investment = US $ 13.440.983,68 b. Selling Price per Year = US $ 472.500.000,00 c. Total Production Cost = US $ 468.953.551,07 d. Annual Cash Flow = US $ 2.975.872,39 e. Pay Out time = 4,5 tahun f. Rate of return on investment = 16% g. Discounted Cash Flow -ROR = 68% h. Break Even Point = 34% i. Service Life = 11 tahun
